(earthquake) 05.31.98 9:19:08

You can't see it, but there was a major earthquake on the famous New Madrid fault just
as
this early morning t@ableCam picture was being shot. Avid t@bleCam watchers
e-mailed aplenty, noting that the flower pot shifted about 1/2 inch to the left.
Our neighbor's house (which
can be seen through the window in the background of this image) completely imploded.
Most of Southern Illinois was wrecked. Luckily no one was injured.

(record heat) 01.12.00 15:20:59

You can't see it, but its hotter Flora, Illinois than anywhere else
America. As CNN reports it, states the Southern half of the country, all
the way from California to Florida are struggling with unseasonably cold weather,
making Flora's 64 degrees Farenheight the hottest weather The States.
As t@ableCam captures this picture, our outside temperature gauge (which hangs
on a tree that
can be seen through the window in the background of this image) confirms the report,
64 on the button.

(locust infestation) 08.31.00 18:56:02
|
You can't see it, but just as this early evening t@bleCam picture was being
taken a major infestation of locusts was arriving in Flora. (Can you see
the locust in this picture? Avid t@bleCam
watchers claim to see one flying in front of the door).
Our neighbor's corn crop (which
can be seen through the window in the background of this image) was completely
devoured by the pests. Luckily they had crop insurance.
